Rodeo Houston

We went rodeoing this past weekend. Well, we wandered around the livestock show, looked at the shopping, and wandered around the carnival. It was a really good time. I got to see a chick being hatched. That was kind of cool. Plus the goats, chickens, cows... The shopping wasn't as great as I'd hoped, but I found a stained glass sunflower I couldn't resist. The quilts on display were beautiful. Makes me wish I could sew. Plus, the food was good. I had fried shrimp, and quite a few for $7. Jonathan had etoufee which he seemed to enjoy (and about 1/2 my shrimp). All in all it was well worth the $12 bucks for both of us.

We took the park and ride option, which I highly recommend. Getting there was really easy and for the 2 of us it was $6 roundtrip. Now, coming home we had a bit of a wait in line, but once it started moving it wasn't too bad.
